Liton Das (Bengali: লিটন দাস) (born 13 October 1994) is a Bangladeshi cricketer.[1] He is a right-handed opening batsman and wicket-keeper. He played for Bangladesh at the Under-19 World Cups in 2012 and 2014. Playing for Rangpur Division in the 2014–15 National Cricket League, he scored five centuries and finished the seven-match season with 1,024 runs at an average of 85.33.[3] Rangpur Division won the championship. In January 2017, he scored his maiden double-century in first-class cricket, playing for East Zone in the 2016–17 Bangladesh Cricket League.[4] As a result of this, he was recalled to Bangladesh's Test squad for their one-off match against India in February 2017. He scored the most runs in the 2016–17 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League, with 752 in 14 matches.
