Sridevi Kapoor (born Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan; 13 August 1963 – 24 February 2018) was an Indian film actress and producer who starred in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Regarded as Bollywood's first female "superstar", she is the recipient of six Filmfare Awards. Sridevi ranked amongst the highest paid actors in the 1990s and is considered to be the most popular actress of the era. Shree Amma Yanger Ayyapan was born in Sivakasi, Madras state, India on 13 August 1963 to Tamil father Ayyapan and Telugu mother Rajeswari. Her father was a lawyer. She has a sister and two stepbrothers.In 1996, Sridevi married Boney Kapoor, a film producer who is also the elder brother of actors Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. They have two daughters, Jahnvi and Khushi. Sridevi Kapoor was an Indian film actress and producer who starred in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada films. Regarded as Bollywood's first female "superstar", she is the recipient of six Filmfare Awards. Sridevi died on 24 February 2018 in Dubai after suffering a massive cardiac arrest.

Khuda Gawah (English: God is the witness) is a 1992 Indian Hindi epic action romance film, produced by Nazir Ahmed & Manoj Desai on Glamour Films banner, directed by Mukul S. Anand, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, Nagarjuna, Shilpa Shirodkar in lead roles and music composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal. The film recorded as Super Hit at the box office. Khuda Gawah had lavish production values and was extensively shot in India, Afghanistan, Nepal and Bhutan. The film won much acclaim for all its actors and especially the lead pair Sridevi and Amitabh Bachchan. Both stars won Filmfare nominations for their work. The film won three Filmfare awards, including Best Director, and went on to become the second-highest-grossing film of 1992. It entered India's Limca Book of Records as the first Bollywood film to use surround sound technique. A sequel to the movie is being planned by producer Manoj Desai. The film was dubbed in Telugu with Amitabh Bachchan's voice dubbed by Saikumar. Khuda Gawah was later adapted into a Pakistani television series by the same name Khuda Gawah its starring include Arbaz Khan and Saba Qamar.
